PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motorcycle or motor tricycle equipped with a roof capable of widening the field of view ahead over the rider obtained through a wind shield and lowering the position of the roof. SOLUTION: This motorcycle or motor tricycle fitted with a roof is equipped with a transparent wind shield 11 whose bottom is attached to the front of the body 1 and an approx. horizontal, opaque or translucent roof 12 continued to the top of the wind shield to cover the over-part of the rider, wherein the wind shield 11 is composed of a front face portion rising at the front surface of the body and an approx. horizontal portion continued to the roof 12.
