PURPOSE: To provide a luminaire that reduces fall of a shadow of a composite lamp socket on a device cover. CONSTITUTION: It is assumed that a lighting fitting is provided with a composite type lamp socket 27 having a fluorescent lamp socket part 27a, in which a fluorescent lamp 31 is fitted, and a glow starter socket part 27b, in which a glow starter 29 is fitted, and a light transmission device cover 23 for covering this socket 27, the fluorescent lamp 31, etc., is fitted in a device main body 22. An axis E of the glow stater socket part 27b and a glow starter 26 is set to parallel to the bottom face (fitting face) 22a of the device main body 22, in which the lamp socket 27 is fitted, and it is characterized that the glow starter socket part 27b and the glow starter 29 are arranged in a range from the fitting face 22a to the end of the fluorescent lamp socket part 27a in height (L). |
