PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable maintaining the quality and the transfer rate of recorded and reproduced data by shifting the assigning of logical addresses backward in a range till free sectors since an abnormal sector while jumping over the abnormal sector when a spare area having free sectors is included in a change authorization range succeeding to the sector in which an abnormality is detected at the time of recording data. SOLUTION: When an abnormality detecting means 301 detects a recording abnormality, whether the logical address of a recording object and the logical address of the end of a change authorization range are included in the same user area or not is confirmed. When both addresses are not included in the same user area, an alternating judging means 101 checks whether free sectors are included in the first spare area since a physical address which became a recording object or not. A slip alternating updating means 102 additionally registers the physical address of the sector which became the recording abnormality in the slip alternating list developed on a memory and continues a recording operation by resuming from the calculating of the physical address of a recording object.
