摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array laser diode, being not affected by the number of channels, in which deviation in a rotational direction at mounting is reduced while characteristics such as stress relaxation, high heat release efficiency and high junction property are not damaged. SOLUTION: An array laser diode 100 is constituted by putting optional numbers of spot-setting operational channels 10 and operational channels 20 unnecessary for spot-set side by side like array. A marker for spot setting is formed on the spot-setting operational channel 10, so alignment is performed by utilizing respective markers for spot setting of a channel near the center part and channels near both the end parts at mounting. An island-like junction electrode is provided to each channel to be mounted, and the island-like junction electrode of the operational channel 20 unnecessary for spot-set is formed larger than that of the spot-setting operational channel 10.
