PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drum body made of a synthetic resin from idling with respect to a bar-axis, to accelerate speed for taking up an electric wire, to quickly suspend the rotation of the drum body, and to prevent the center hole of the drum body from being damaged while being accompanied with taking-up and/or taking out operations for the electric wire. SOLUTION: This electric wire take-up drum is so constituted that paired brim parts 4 are provided for both the ends of a roughly cylindrical barrel part, the bar shaft of the take-up drum is inserted into a center hole provided for the brim part 4 so as to be rotated, so that the electric wire is taken up over to the drum body and/or taken out therefrom. A bar shaft support part 5 having the center hole 6 in which the bar shaft is inserted, is integrally formed up at the center of the brim part 4. Elastically deformable crests 9 and troughes 8 are formed into an idle prevention recessed and projection surface 7 provided for the circumferential direction A. The bar-shaft is inserted into the center hole 6 of the bar shaft support part 5 so as to be brought into contact with pressure with a part of the recessed and projection surface 7.
