PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color EL(Electro-Luminescent) display device with a high degree of color purity even through highly integrated, by preventing the colors from being mixed between adjacent pixels and worsened in color purity in the case that each pixel has a luminescent layer emitting a different color. SOLUTION: Spacing is secured in the horizontal direction between light- emitting areas 7 by placing a part of a capacitor 5 in the light-emitting area 7 in the horizontal direction. Even though a misalignment of a metal mask occurs at the time of vapor-depositing the light-emitting layer, different colors are hard to be mixed with each other because the horizontal distance is secured. Moreover, a part of the capacitor 5 or the thin film transistors 4, 6 are also arranged in the vertical direction of the light-emitting area. Therefore, the color purity is high to the adjacent pixels in the columnar direction in a delta arrangement. |
