摘要 PURPOSE:To easily, almost continuously monitor a toxic substance in a short time by combinedly using an enzyme, urease, and an microorganism, nitrite bacteria. CONSTITUTION:A biosensor 11 has a dissolved oxygen electrode equipped with a hybrid film composed of an urease-immobilized enzyme film and nitrite bacteria-immobilized microorganism film. By respectively making a phosphate buffer solution A and pure water to flow by means of pumps 6 and pump 7 by opening valves l and 4, air is injected into the mixed flow passage of the buffer solution and pure water from an air pump 8. The oxygen-saturated solution is introduced to a flow cell fitted with a biosensor 11 after heating the solution with a heat exchanger 10 and the output of the sensor 11 is measured. Then, by making a phosphate buffer solution B containing urea to flow by closing the valve 1 and opening a valve 2, the output of the sensor 1 is measured. After storing the difference between the outputs of the sensor 11 against the buffer solutions A and B in a measuring section 13, a water sample is introduced by opening the valve 3 and monitoring is started. At the moment the output difference of the sensor 11 drops, the existence of a toxic substance is detected.
