PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display an unmagnified three-dimensional(3D) image and to support the intuitive comprehension of the size of an object in comparison with the size of a reference object. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a 3D image photographing means 101 composed of two video cameras installed parallel to an optical photographing axis, a parallax quantity calculating means 102 for calculating the difference of positions occupied by objects in two images outputted by the 3D image photographing means 101 inside the images, a distance calculating means 103 for calculating a distance on the basis of the output of the parallax quantity calculating means 102, an unmagnified image size calculating means 104 for calculating an image display size on the basis of distance information calculated by the distance calculating means 103 and information on the angle of view of a lens in the 3D image photographing means 101, and an image display means 105 for displaying an unmagnified 3D image photographed by the 3D image photographing means 101 on a display screen on the basis of the results of the parallax quantity calculating means 102, distance calculating means 103 and unmagnified image size calculating means 104. |
