<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain quality of a service in an ATM system, when a plurality of channels are registered to a contents addressable memory CAM. SOLUTION: In an asynchronous transfer mode ATM communication control method, when the transmission time of a transmission channel is scheduled, a transmission time registered in a CAM is retrieved within a range where the transmission channel is scheduled at an allowed cell rate(ACR), and when the transmission channel scheduled exists at the same time, the ACR of the transmission channel that is going to be scheduled is revised, so that a plurality of transmission channels will not be scheduled at the same time.</p> |
