PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration due to an ultra violet radiation, to enhance light emitting characteristics and to provide a multicolor light emitting element by providing a protective layer having a specific absorbance to an ultraviolet absorption wave length on a color conversion filter of a fluorescent dye formed on a substrate. SOLUTION: A red fluorescent dye layer 3, a green fluorescent dye layer 4 and a blue fluorescent dye layer 5 are two-dimensionally disposed on a transparent substrate 6 such as glass. On a color conversion filter consisted of these fluorescent dye layers 3, 4 and 5, protective layers 1 and 2 having a film thickness of about 1-2μm, a transparent gas barrier and a mechanical strength. The protective layers 1 and 2 adjust the added concentration of a UV absorber to set its absorbance at 1 or more. On the protective layers 1 and 2, a transparent electrode (positive electrode) 7, an organic luminescent layer 10, an electrode (negative electrode) 12, a hole injection layer 8, a hole transport layer 9 and an electron injection layer 11, etc., are deposited to form an organic electroluminescent laminated product. As the UV absorber, compounds such as a benzotriazole, a benzophenone and a salicylate are named.
