PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device in which an adjustment is made to provide an optimum servo parameter for each land/groove track. SOLUTION: The adjusting device is provided with a gain automatic adjusting circuit 131 which adjusts a focus servo gain and a tracking servo gain, and a balance adjusting circuit 132 which adjusts the respective balance of a focus error signal FE and a track error signal TE. An optical head 103 continuously traces only one of the land/groove tracks on an optical disk 101 and the adjustment of each servo gain by the circuit 131 and the balance adjustment of the signal FE by the circuit 132 are conducted for every track of land/groove, the adjustment results are held by a register and the stored and held results are read in accordance with the kind of the track being traced during a recording/reproducing and set.
