PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate processing of used sensitive material and to miniaturize an image forming device. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, the time required until reception paper 66 where an image is transferred is ejected from the image forming device 10 is shortened because a heat drum 64 where the sensitive material 18 and the reception paper 66 are wrapped around is rotated without stop and the image on the sensitive material 18 is thermally transferred to the reception paper 66. The device can be miniaturized since there is not necessity to enlarge a diameter of the heat drum 64 to match the size of the image to be thermally transferred and an endless belt is unnecessary. The photosensitive material 18 itself functions as the endless belt that a constant pressure force is imparted to the reception paper 66 by transferring the sensitive material 18 to a waste reel 100 without cutting the photosensitive material 18. Furthermore, since the photosensitive material is wound up to the waste reel without being cut into sheets, the processing of the used photosensitive material 18 is facilitated.
