PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly reproduce digital signals without error even when the digital signals have different transmission rates. SOLUTION: A waveform shaping circuit is provided with an input terminal 1 to which digital signals with different transmission rates are given, a comparator 2 in which one of its input terminals is connected to the input terminal 1 and the other input terminal is connected to the input terminal 1 via an integration device, and an output terminal 6 to which the output of the comparator 2 is given. The integration device is a waveform shaping circuit where an input voltage is different from a comparison voltage. Thus, even when a transmission rate of the digital signal given to the input terminal 1 is changed, the digital signal is exactly reproduced without error.
