PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double superheterodyne receiver from which the number of local oscillators is reduced. SOLUTION: A double superheterodyne receiver converts received high-frequency signals into signals having a first intermediate frequency by means of a first reference signal which is generated based on the oscillation output of a reference oscillator 50 and has a first frequency and the signals converting the first intermediate frequency into signals, having a second intermediata frequency lower than the first intermediate signal by means of a second reference signal which is generated based on the oscillation output of the oscillator 50 and has a second frequency, and in addition, demodulates the signals having the second intermediate frequency by means of a third reference signal having a third frequency and used for multiple address communication. The receiver is provided with a frequency divider 26, which generates the third reference signal by dividing the frequency of the signals generated based on the oscillation output of the oscillator 50.
