PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load on an external CPU and to eliminate the useless wait processing of a CPU by stopping the command processing thereafter, reading out pixel data stored in a frame buffer and transferring the pixel data through DMA to a main storage device when a read command is recognized. SOLUTION: As a command to be transmitted to an image processor 3, the CPU in a main device 1 reads the pixel data out of a frame buffer (FRB) 8 and is provided with an FRB read command for DMA transfer to the main storage device of the main device 1. When the FRB read command is recognized, the image processor 3 stops processing commands received from the CPU up to the moment and performs the DMA transfer of pixel data stored in the FRB 8 to the main storage device. When the FRB read command is received, a command processing part 300 stops receiving commands from a FIFO buffer 200, after the end of DMA transfer is reported from a DMA processing part 700, the next command is received and processing is restarted.
