PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the computer simulation results of sheet material by selecting an optimum solution by selectively writing information specifying a guide being brought into contact with a certain value, time information, the coordinates of a contact point and node information in calculation when each power component in the vertical and tangential directions exceeds the value. SOLUTION: Carrier guide data composed of the shape of a carrier guide 17, etc., contributing to sheet material conveyance to be constructed in a device, various characteristic data such as rigidity decided from a young's modulus, etc., of a sheet 16 and a calculation condition necessary to calculation are inputted. Next, the modeling of the guide 17 and the sheet 16 are performed. Subsequently, the state of the sheet 16 after optional time T (n+1) from an initial state is sequentially calculated. The contact between the sheet 16 and the guide 17 is decided, the entire simultaneous equation is prepared on the basis of it and calculation is performed. The calculation is repeatedly performed until results are converged. After calculation at the time T (n+1) is finished, the data of calculated results are made a file and written to an external storage device.
