PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain electrophotographic transfer paper excellent in suitability to electrophotography such as toner fixability and paper feeding characteristics and having such suitability to ink jet printing that feathering and striking through are not caused in printing with an ink jet printer. SOLUTION: When paper making is carried out using a pulp slurry of >=pH 7.0 for paper making containing at least a filler, a neutral rosin sizing agent and aluminum sulfate to manufacture electrophotographic transfer paper, the neutral rosin sizing agent is added to a pulp slurry for paper making after a step for diluting the pulp slurry with white water. The weight ratio (A/B) of the amount (A) of the neutral rosin sizing agent added to the pulp slurry to the content (B) of the neutral rosin sizing agent in the resulting electrophotographic transfer paper is preferably 1.11-1.42.
