PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the rotational fluctuation of a rotated body in a picture forming apparatus, by computing the fluctuating coefficient of the rotational speed of the rotated body, and by controlling on the basis of the computed fluctuating coefficient a load generating means for generating a load correspondingly to the rotational drive of the rotated body. SOLUTION: A drive-source driving portion 2102 drives a DC motor 201 on the basis of the PWM control performed by a computation controlling portion 2105. A rotational-speed sensing portion 2101 receives the output of a pulse encoder 205 to sense the rotational speed of a photosensitive body drum 41. The sensed rotational speed thereof is sent to the computation controlling portion 2105 to compute the fluctuating coefficient of the rotational speed of the photosensitive body drum 41. A load driving portion 2102 makes a powder brake 203 generate a load by the control of the computation controlling portion 2105. On the basis of the computed fluctuating coefficient, the rotational speed of the DC motor 201 and the load generated by the powder brake 203 are controlled. As a result, even when the load quantity responding to a rotational drive is fluctuated, the load quantity applied actually to a drive source can be made constant. |
