PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for using an electronic document in a smart phone. SOLUTION: A merchant, a legal organization or other entity provides an electronic document to a subscriber as a certificate for registration to a service or for legal qualification. In the case of registration, a subscriber registers the telephone number of a telephone set by which the user wishes to receive an issued electronic document (502). After the electronic document is generated (504), the organization transmits the electronic document to a telephone set with a registered telephone number (506). The subscriber can manage the electronic document in a received smart phone.
