摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a linear motor of high efficiency wherein structure is simple and demagnetization is little. SOLUTION: A movable magnet linear motor 10 is provided with four stator cores 12 and a magnet movable segment 18. The stator cores are constituted of magnetic steel plates, formed of an outer peripheral yoke 12a, an inner peripheral yoke 12b and a bottom yoke 12c connecting one end portions of both the yokes and integrating them, and arranged in a circular type at intervals of 90 deg.. The magnet movable segment 18 has a permanent magnet 28 capable of displacement in the axial direction which is arranged in a magnetic air gap 16 between a stator 14 constituted of an exciting coil 20 arranged along the inner space of each of the outer peripheral yokes 12a and each of the stator core 12. An open side end portion of each of the outer peripheral yoke 12a is protruded from the open side end portion of each of the inner peripheral yoke 12b, and a step difference 22 is formed on the open side of the stator core 12. By this constitution, the degree of symmetry of a magnetic circuit is increased, so that a movable magnet linear motor of high efficiency wherein demagnetization is not generated when the magnet is thinned can be provided at a low cost.
