PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce update processing time and communication fees required for the updating work of the control programs of plural image forming devices to be managed through communication by a central controller. SOLUTION: An update control program for updating a control program of an image forming device is transmitted from a center system 1 through a public communication line network 5 to communication adapters 11 and 21, and the communication adapters 11 and 21 store the update control program received from the center system 1 in an RAM, and transfers the update control program of the RAM according to the operating situation of the image forming device to be updated connected through a wire I/F 16b for updating the control program of the image forming device. Thus, as the time of updating the control programs of plural image forming devices, the processing load of a central controller can be reduced, and any trouble such as failure generated due to the update of the control program due to the difference of versions can be prevented. |
