PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network interface module with a simplified configuration and a reception tuner used therefor. SOLUTION: The network interface module to be arranged at the side of a house for connecting a CATV(cable television) station to a house side terminal is provided with a QPSK tuner 8 for receiving a data signal which is orthogonally phase-shifted and modulated(QPSK) among a downstream signal group transmitted from the CATV station. A circuit group for the nonusage band of a reception signal is omitted in the tuner 8 and, besides, a circuit part for selecting stations is shared in the circuit group for a VHF band(low frequency band) and a UHF band(high frequency band) to be used. |
