PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an improved system that generates a plurality of magnified/ reduced videos from at least two coded video sources by providing a frame buffer that is coupled with a digital video decoder and has a plurality of storage areas for reduced frames from a plurality of coding video sources. SOLUTION: Coded video sources 11, 12, 14 with a plurality of video frames are given to a selector switch 25 from input terminals 21, 22, 24. Any of the coded video sources appears at an output 26 of the switch 25 and is coupled with a digital video decoder 27. The digital video decoder 27 processes a coded digital video stream and generates a video image to be stored in a frame buffer 28. The frame buffer 28 has a capacity of storing various combinations of reduced frames. A browsing person uses a controller 30 to select one or a plurality of magnified/reduced video sources.
