PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simple mounting structure of a rack mount device which can prevent the rack mount device from falling when the device is installed or when maintenance work is carried out and is excellent in maintainability. SOLUTION: A mounting structure is composed of rails 3 which have guide pins 11 mated with attachment holes 10 formed in a rack 1, and have channels formed by angle members with U-shaped cross-sections by which a rack mount device 2 is slidably supported and fixed to the rack; and the rack mount device 2 which has side plates 15 having protrusions 4 with predetermined protrusion widths so as to be able to gear with the rails, and to slide along the channels of the rails.
