PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness of a lid and to perform miniaturization. SOLUTION: This piezoelectric vibrator is provided with a piezoelectric diaphragm 12 provided with a piezoelectric vibration piece 11 and a frame-like part 15 integrally connected to the base end for surrounding the periphery of the piezoelectric vibration piece 11 and a pair of the lid bodies 14 joined to both surfaces of the piezoelectric diaphragm 12 and provided with a recessed part 13 for airtightly sealing the piezoelectric vibration piece 11 without obstructing the vibration on a part corresponding to the piezoelectric vibration piece 11. In this case, the boundary 21 of respective surfaces for constituting the recessed part 13 of the lid 14 is turned to a curved surface shape and the mechanical strength of the lid body 14 is improved.
