A load bearing pivot assembly (80) for connecting the boom arm of a power machine to an implement (40) (e.g., adapter plate). The load bearing pivot assembly (80) provides a fluid path therethrough in order to eliminate fluid lines at the pivot point which are otherwise susceptible to failure due to repeated flexure and due to being exposed to an abusive environment. The pivot assembly (80) includes a load bearing pin (82) that has a bore (100) that carries hydraulic fluid from an entrance port (104) on the boom arm (17) to an exit port (106) on the end of the pin (82). The exit port (106) is connected to an actuator (70) on an attachment or implement (40). The implement (40) can be rotated on the pin (84) without twisting the hydraulic connections to the ports (104,106).
