The hand protection device used during cutting work comprises a foldable part, a hand grip and a loop for fingers. It consists of a plate (2) provided with a hand grip (3) projecting from one plate side (27). Between the hand grip and the plate is a space into which a user can insert his or her hand. When a user takes hold of the hand grip the plate locates against the upper side of the hand and at the same time the plate with one edge (23) is manually pressed against the object to be cut. The plate thus fixes the object against a base surface (40) and simultaneously protects the closed hand when using the cutting implement. |
