<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image radar device capable of ensuring resolution in a cross-range direction and obtaining a high resolution image regardless of the distance to a target. SOLUTION: Reception beam data which a receiver 8 outputs is split in time axis with a distance detector in a two-dimensional imaging processor 10, and a distance R to a target is detected. The output frequency for obtaining desired resolution in cross-range direction according to the distance R is calculated with a frequency determination part, which is directed to a frequency controller 6. The frequency controller 6 controls an exciter 5 so as to output the directed frequency. The reception beam data by transmission signal output by the exciter 5 is split in time axis, the distance R is detected and reception power intensity is detected by a reception intensity detector. The distance R and the reception power intensity are produced as image information in an image information producing part. The reception intensity is changed to brilliancy and displayed on image based on the produced image information.</p> |
