PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray guide tube which has high efficiency in condensing light to an X-ray source of dozensμm to a few mm in size and whose dimensions are also appropriate. SOLUTION: In an X-ray guide tube 8 that guides an X-ray beam 5 outputted from an X-ray source 1 to a position where X rays are to be applied, the light- condensing optical system curve of the inner face of the X-ray guide tube 8 is slanted by an angleθin response to the size of the X-ray source 1 with a fulcrum put on the output side of the X-ray guide tube 8. The slanted light- condensing optical system curve 11 is cut off on the axis of the original light- condensing optical system curve, and the curve obtained by the cutoff is taken as a deformed surface of rotating of a curve obtained by rotating the cut-off curve around the axis mentioned above. The X-ray source 1 is located on the slanted side of the deformed surface of rotation of a curve and the side of the fulcrum is taken as a position where X rays are applied.
