PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-optical signal generator which can easily change the optical frequencies of two optical signals only by the same quantity keeping the optical frequency difference compared with a conventional example. SOLUTION: Light sources 21, 40 generate a 1st and 2nd optical signals having mutually orthogonal polarized light azimuth, and an optical fiber cable 33 maintains the polarized light and has saturable absorption characteristics. A polarized beam splitter 32 makes the 1st optical signal incident to the optical fiber cable 33, and also makes the 2nd optical signal incident to the optical fiber cable 33, and the 1st optical signal outputted from the other end is reflected by a reflecting mirror 35 and is made incident to the optical fiber cable 33, and a standing wave distribution of the 1st optical signal is generated and formed with a grating part optically written in the optical fiber cable 33. The 2nd optical signal is generated of which the optical frequency is selected by the formed grating part so as to have an optical frequency difference corresponding to the difference between the refraction indices to the two optical signals. |
