PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a musical composition at a high degree of perfection generable while variegating melody and accompaniment by generating a melody on the basis of the melody generating code progress data, and generating the accompaniment on the basis of the accompaniment generating code progress data. SOLUTION: The musical composition generating device automatically generates both of a melody and an accompaniment. The melody generating code progress data and the accompaniment generating code progress data are composed of a separate code, at least one part of which is related to each other, and the melody and the accompaniment are composed on the basis of the code, at least one part of which is different from each other. Consequently, a musical composition at a high degree of perfection and full of variety can be composed. Furthermore, since the melody generating code progress data and the accompaniment generating code progress data are supplied in a set, a musical composition, of which melody code and the accompaniment code match with each other, can be provided to a user. |
