<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information equipment having a map information displaying function capable of calling and displaying map areas other than the selected map based on a drag direction by making a dragged length and a dragged speed and the position of the final place of dragging to be criteria. SOLUTION: This equipment is provided with a first map storage means 112-3 in which map data which are selected and are displayed at present are stored, a second map storage means 115-5 in which map data which are not selected are stored, a drag detecting means 103 detecting whether a map is dragged or not, a drag characteristic information detecting and judging means 101 detecting and judging the characteristic of a drag and a map data calling means 101-4 calling map data of a next range continuous to the map which is displayed at present. In this case, the means 101-4 reads out the map data of the next range continuous to the map which is displayed at present when the characteric information of the detected drag agrees with preliminarily stipulated conditions.</p> |
