<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of plotting performance by stopping the transmission of attribute data and a graphics command to a graphics processor, of which load exceeds a threshold, and distributing the attribute data and the graphics command to the other graphics processor. SOLUTION: First to fourth geometry engines 21-24 respectively calculate their own loads of geometry processing from the attribute data and the graphics command transferred from a command distributor 10. Besides, high load signals HL1-HL4 are outputted for showing whether the load of geometry processing exceeds the prescribed threshold by concentrating the graphics command or not. When the high load signals HL1-HL4 are detected, the command distributor 1O stops transferring the graphics command to the geometry engine until these signals are canceled. Thus, the attribute data and the graphics command are distributed to the other graphics processor.</p> |
