PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television(TV) intercom device by which the light amount of illumination equipment is reduced under a situation where circumferential illumination intensity is comparatively large and a dazzling degree for a visitor to feel is reduced as much as possible. SOLUTION: In the TV intercom device, the circumferential illumination intensity is detected by a light amount detector 5a for detecting a brightness in the periphery of an intercom slave set 1 by depressing a calling button 5 by the visitor at night, an illumination turn-on switch 5c is operated, illumination equipment 5g is turned-on, the image of the visitor is picked-up by a camera part 8 and it is outputted by the monitor 3 of a master set 2. In this case, the intercom slave set is provided with a light adjusting circuit 5d by which illumination equipment is turned-on by the light amount in proportion to a different between the output signal of the illumination turn-on switch and that of the light amount detector.
