PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original reader-recorder by which how a copied original is magnified and recorded on recording paper can be confirmed when a copy magnification of the original is changed. SOLUTION: The device is provided with an original size detection means 9S, an operation means 80 that enters longitudinal/lateral recording magnification M1/M2 of an original and a display means 7. The display means 7 displays a size frame I of the original detected by the original size detection means 9S overlapping with a size frame II of recording paper designated in advance and when the operation means 80 is operated, the size frame I of the original is displayed while magnifying it longitudinally and laterally.
