SOLUTION: In the case of displaying images 131 to 135 corresponding to respective retrieved results on a display part 130 in an information retrieving device for retrieving information to be retrieved whose degree of coincidence with an inputted retrieving condition is more than a prescribed value from a data base, the size and positions of respective images are determined in accordance with the degrees of coincidence with the inputted retrieving condition and an image having a higher degree of coincidence is displayed near to the center part 136 of the display part 130 by larger size.
