PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material excellent in very rapid processability. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has at least a yellow dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer, a magenta dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer and a cyan dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer on the substrate. The yellow dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer is situated on a side remoter from the substrate than at least one of the magenta dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer and the cyan dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer and >=50% of the total projected area of all silver halide grains contained in the yellow dye forming coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer is occupied by flat platy grains having an average aspect ratio of >=2 and containing at least >=80 mol% silver chloride.
