PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent electronic chip parts from being mounted on a printed board with its face turned toward the direction opposite to a desired polar direction. SOLUTION: An electronic chip part-mounting device is provided with a part-supplying means 3 which supplies electronic chip parts 213 having polar directions and housed in bulk-like states to a parts supplying position 3b one by one, a parts carrying means which picks up the parts 213 from the position 3b and carries the picked-up parts 213 to a printed board, and polar direction discriminating means 228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, and 333 for parts which discriminate whether the parts 213 are turned their faces toward their polar directions or opposite directions. The mounting device is also provided with a polar direction correcting means which corrects the polar directions of the parts 213 picked up by means of the parts carrying means by turning the parts 213 by 180 deg. when the parts 213 are turned toward the opposite directions. |
