PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized frequency multiplier capable of performing high-order multiplication and radio equipment using the same. SOLUTION: The frequency multiplier 10 is provided with an input terminal 11 in which an input signal is inputted, a first resonance circuit 12 to resonate with frequency (ω) of the input signal a second resonance circuit 13 to resonate with n-fold frequency (nω) of the input signal, an idler circuit 14, a varactor diode 15 as a variable reactance element, capacitors C1, C2 for adjusting the coupling, a bias resistor Rb and an output terminal 16 to output a multiplied output signal. And since the frequency multiplier 10 is the current exciting frequency multiplier, the first and second resonance circuits 12, 13 are constituted of an LC serial resonance circuit and its first and second resonance circuits 12, 13 are serially connected between the input terminal 11 and the output terminal 16. In addition, a parallel circuit consisting of the idler circuit 14 and the varactor diode 15 is connected between the input terminal 11 and the output terminal 16.
