PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a burden on a person when he carries a portable power supply by removably installing a charging section on a power supply section in the portable power supply provided with the power supply section which is a DC power supply stored in a power supply case and the charging section having an output terminal for supplying accumulated power to other equipment. SOLUTION: A DC power supply 3 having a positive and a negative terminal is stored in a power supply case 2 to build up a power supply section 1. A charging section 5 is provided with a DC output terminal 4a and an AC output terminal 4b as output terminals 4 to deliver power to other equipment and with a connection section to be connected to the DC terminal of the power supply section 1. The charging section 5 is also provided with a battery charger which receives power from the power supply section 1 through the connection section to charge a battery and a circuit section which supplies power from the battery charger to the output terminal 4 when the charging section 5 is connected to other equipment. The circuit section controls the output of the DC power accumulated in the battery charger, supplying the DC power to the DC terminal 4a and converting the DC power to AC power to supply it to the AC output terminal 4b. Due to this structure, the portable power supply can be moved confortably when it is moved to supply power.
