PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier system in which plural carriers traveling on a track are controlled by using an optical communication unit through a carrier controller installed on ground in the carrier system where plural carriers are placed on a track. SOLUTION: This system consists of optical communication units 3a, 3b, 3c installed on a ground side carrier controller 5 and optical communication units 2a, 2b, 2c mounted on carriers 1a, 1b, 1c that send/receive information to/from the optical communication units 3a, 3b, 3c. The optical communication units 2a, 2b, 2c mounted on the carriers 1a, 1b, 1c are installed on different optical axes from the carriers 1a, 1b, 1c, and the optical communication units 3a, 3b, 3c are placed to the carrier controller 5 corresponding to this. |
