PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fault handling system capable of making a fault handling job efficient. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a storage processor 3A which calculates the distance from a fault site to a portable telephone on the basis of the position information of the fault site obtained from a database 8 and the position information of the portable telephone carried by a maintenance staff obtained from a telephone company 11, calculates the moving time from the fault site to the current location of the maintenance staff on the basis of the moving means of the maintenance staff obtained from the database and the calculated distance and outputs a fault handling instruction to the portable telephone corresponding to the shortest moving time among calculated moving times when a fault content is a confinement fault. Thus, it is possible to automatically select the maintenance staff capable of reaching the fault occurrence site in the shortest time and to realized fault handling person selection with high accuracy, in a short time and also without handling time. |
