<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method for installing a resistor on a circuit board which enables low-cost, easy production, eliminates the need to weld an inserting element for direct installation on the circuit board, obtains a very small resistance value with a stable temperature coefficient, and makes measurement more accurate. SOLUTION: By this installing method, the thin and long resistor 2 formed of copper foil is installed in a free space on the circuit board 1 by calculating concrete equivalent area from a conversion value for every centimeter square, a connection type bridge 21 which can be corrected optionally is provided at an intermediate position of the resistor 2 so that the resistance quantity can be adjusted when necessary, and at least two contacts (jumper) 23 are provided at respective end parts of the copper foil. Consequently, the integrated copper foil which is continuous, flat, and thin has a stable temperature coefficient and superior heat radiation effect to enable accurate measurement, and this method is applied to an electronic automobile to minimize the power consumption for the measurement, thereby increasing the accuracy of the measurement.</p> |
