<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical connector small in size and improved in packaging density by providing the connector with an aligning part with which a first ferrule part can be aligned and held facing to a second ferrule part in an attachable and detachable state in a housing. SOLUTION: Three parts of a housing 2, first ferrule 3 and main body 4 can be assembled, and the housing 2 is equipped with an aligning sleeve 5 to align and hold the first ferrule 3 as attachable to and detachable from and facing to a second ferrule 3'. The ferrule is divided into plural members, namely, the first ferrule part 3 and the second ferrule part 3' so that the first ferrule part 3 as a part of the ferrule can be exchanged. Moreover, the housing 2 can be detached from the main body 4 such as the second ferrule part 3' of the optical connector. By this constitution, the obtd. optical connector is small in size and the packaging density can be improved.</p> |
