PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection system by which a detection amount of a sensor can be set from a slave set to a master set even when the master set and the slave set are placed apart. SOLUTION: The detection system is provided with one or a plurality of slave sets 31a that receive a detected amount detected by a detector 10, compare the received detected amount with a prescribed threshold and output the comparison result, and with a master set 33a that receives and displays the comparison result outputted by the slave set 31a and conducts arithmetic processing to control another connected device. The master set 33a and the slave set 31a are designed to be separate units, the system is provided with a communication unit 32 to make communication with the master set 33a and the slave set 31a. The slave set 31a is provided with means 12, 13 that output the detection amount. The master set 33a has means 21, 23 that receive the detected amount outputted by the output means 12 and a means 26 that displays the detected amount received by the means 21, 23.
