PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the dangling and others of a film end by a method in which in a method and an apparatus for producing an endless belt which forms a film on the inside surface of a cylindrical molding mold by centrifugal molding, a space between a damming member regulating the liquid end of a coating liquid and the inside surface of the molding mold is eliminated to prevent the intrusion of the coating liquid below the damming member. SOLUTION: In an apparatus, a liquid agent 4 is packed in a cavity between a damming member 2 fitted to the inside surface 1a of a cylindrical molding mold 1 and the inside surface 1a of the molding mold 1. Since the agent 4 is liquid, even when the cavity is minute, a gap can be eliminated simply by a capillary phenomenon to keep airtightness. In this way, the intrusion of a coating liquid 3 below the damming member 2 can be prevented so that the dangling of a film end can be prevented.
