PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone set capable of selecting a favorite music as a ringer tone, etc., at the time of an incoming call by receiving MIDI data from the outside, storing receiving MIDI data and reading the stored MIDI data thereby execute reproducing. SOLUTION: The MIDI data to be downloaded to a telephone set from a server is previously received by an antenna 2 and stored in the Flash RAM 20 of an MIDI data processing part 15. When an incoming call signal is received by the antenna 2 after then, a receiving part 12 demodulates this and a signal discriminating part 14 discriminates it to be the incoming call signal and gives a discriminating signal to a sound source CPU 21. The CPU 21 judges the reception of the incoming call signal by receiving this and reads MIDI data from the RAM 20. The CPU 21 gives an instruction to a reproducing part 24 based on the read MIDI data. The part 24 receives the instruction to read sound from a sound source ROM 23 and to reproduce music. Then, the reproduced music is outputted as the ringer tone from a speaker 5. |
