FOUR-WIRE WOUND HELICAL ANTENNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-wire wound helical antenna which has a stable structure. SOLUTION: Coaxial cables 102 and 103 and metal wires 104 and 105 wound spirally are used as antenna elements. The coaxial cable 102 and metal wire 104, and coaxial cable 103 and metal wire 105 and connected respectively at a feed point part 106, and they are regarded as a feed point 1 and a feed point 2 respectively. An insulating body is inserted between the feed points 1 and 2 to obtain electric insulation between the feed points, spiral grooves are formed in a support cylinder 101 so as to wind the cylinder with the elements 102 to 105 to constant intervals, and the external conductors of the coaxial cables 102 and 103 and the ground surface of a phase shift feeding circuit 11 are connected through a metal plate 107.
