PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method by which such an electromagnetic wave shielding film that can be handled easily when the film is subjected to such working as the resist application, exposure, development, etching, etc., and hardly causes failures. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method by which an electromagnetic wave shielding film is manufactured by sticking a conductive material carrying a geometric pattern to the surface of a transparent base film, an adhesive layer is provided on the back of the transparent base film to which the conductive material is stuck and the base film is stuck to a substrate with the adhesive for future working.
