PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil impregnated solid power cable capable of preventing the formation of a void especially on a conductor and beneath a metal sheath. SOLUTION: This solid cable has an insulating layer 3 in the outer circumference of a conductor 1, an insulating tape containing a polyolefin base resin film is used in at least part of the insulating layer 3, and insulating oil is impregnated in the insulating layer 3. The insulating oil has a viscosity of 10 cSt or more but less than 500 cSt at 60 deg.C. Solid rubber having an average molecular weight of 50,000 or more but less than 2,000,000 is contained in part of the insulating oil.
